Hello everyone!

Today has been such a good, relaxing day... damien and I had lunch with his parents, then we drove to my parents' house and took my mom and Azzia the dog out for a walk, by the sea (I only live 5 mns awy from the Mediterranean Sea), in Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone, it was good to smell the salty air there.

and tonight, I'm going to finish packing my suitcases and clean the house a little bit.

I've been realizing that I'm getting better and better at organizing :) I'm not that GREAT, but I'm getting better :)

Knowing that end of May is going to be super busy (I get back from Brazil n the 21st, and have to drive to Nice, on the Riviera, on the 23rd, and on the 22nd, make about 200 kits for my classes), I made myself a schedule to follow.

And it worked! Within a week, I managed to get THIS WHOLE LIST done :

 

2 layouts for kit #1 from SIStv : OK.
2 layouts for kit #2 from SIStv : OK.
2 American Crafts layouts: OK.
1 100% American Crafts layout : OK.
3 Prima layouts : OK.
interview for the SIStv Ezine : OK.
get all the paperwork done for {EA} Nice and send them : OK.
tutorial for SIStv (written, project done, already pre-posted the whole tutorial on the blog): OK.

Well I have to admit that Damien helped me out a little bit on certain things :)

So, I only have my suitcases to get done now.

I don't think I'll have time to post tomorrow, and to post from Brazil either, but I wanted to show you a layout that I made yesterday, just for fun!

I'm so happy right now!!!!! My best friend, who I've known for over 15 years; is PREGNANT!!!!! I'm so so so happy! :)
we've been so close, she's like my sister, like my soul mate friendwise, she understands me like no other and she's been extremely precious tomy heart.
She moved in the north of France a couple of years ago, because her husband is in the military, but distance didn't break our friendship, it even grew stronger.
And yesterday evening, she calls me and tells me I'm going to be an Aunt! OMG! we just couldn't stop crying on the phone!!! :D
So I used my most recent SIStv kit, The Hipster, to make her a little journal where she can talk about her pregnancy, write about anything and everything...and she'll be able to read it later.

:)

I'm SO happy right now. :)

hey everyone!

So you know I'm without any computer yet, using Damien (thank God he has his own!!!) but my dad, who looked at my laptop, told me it was totally OUT. :( So I need to buy a new one. I didn't expect such a big expense for this month but I guess I'll buy a new one when I get back...

but get back from WHERE?!!!

Well, I'm going to BRAZIL on Tuesday!!!!! :D I'm going to teach in Sao Paulo next week and spend some days there and in Ro de Janeiro!!! WHAT A DREAM!!! oh dear...I feel so lucky! :D

So I decided to make this layout for my trip, saying how much I was excited to go!!!!!!

I used the new ScrapinstyleTV "TheTrendsetter - Off the Runway" collection, and added my fvorite Cloud stamp and alpha stickers!!!!

Next week I'll have my first tutorial at SIStv, it'll be online on May 15th! Come and check it out that day!

In the meantime, I'm going to scrap tonight while Damien is playing with his new favorite videogame : GTA IV !!!!! :D

My computer crashed!

Don't know what happened! It might be hard for me to check up on my emails these days until my computer is fixed (or not...argh!).
maybe it's time to turn to Apple. :)

I'm feeling a little bit better, I was feeling kinda sick the past couple of days...I guess those are part of WOMEN-STUFF {insert "awwwwww ok.got it." here}.anyway.

I have AMAZING news to share as well but I guess you guys will have to wait a little bit for the BIG news (no I'm not pregnant.) :D

I guess I can actually talk about one of them. My sweet friend and Fashionista Adrienne Looman will be teaching at my {entreARTistes} event in the south of France (montpellier) at the end of October! :D I'm soooooo excited about it!!!!!! we've got amazing plans for this event but I'll let you know more about it soon!

Here are two layouts that I made using the latest Rouge de Garance paperline, called Jin. I simply love the bold and bright colors! :)

ooooh what a fantastic weekend it was...

I haven't laughed in such a looooooooong time.
thank God for times with loved ones.

I'm leaving today until Monday : I'm teaching and organizing a scrapbook retreat (called {entreARTistes} ) in France with my friend Karine, and this weekend we'll be in Pau, near Spain. :) We're going to have so much fun!

Version Scrap 2008 - my VIDEO at last!

So I got to make my Flip work on my computer! I have been trying to make it work for over 2 weeks now, but being away a lot lately, I left my computer at my parents' and my dad managed to make it work! Well...it was simple. He just uploaded the program update on the Flip website.
DUH?! was it that difficult to think about?
never mind.

So I finally managed to upload my videos and here's my first! Ok I'm not the best one at editing movies but hey! it was fun and I'm loving my Flip even more now it works! :D

Back from Norway

hey everyone!!!

I've been back from Norway since Monday evening. I got back home very late and what have I done since then?!!! Hmmm almost nothing, except seeing my family, celebrating Ben's birthday with our friends, cleaning the house, getting my suitcases empty... and making some muffins which turned out SO flat that I could almost call them cookies!!! :D

I'm getting ready for our event {entreARTistes} next weekend. It's going to be SO great! we'll get to see new friends and old friends! I can't wait! Teaching and organizing our own retreat with Karine is just SO cool :)

So here are some pictures of my trip to Bergen, 2nd biggest city in Norway.

I would like to thank everyone who attented my classes, all the girls that made me feel very welcome, Linda from Papirgleder for inviting me, Gudrun and Lene for being the best tour guides ever and for drinking as much as me! :D

Hi everyone!

I'm back from the scrap event Version Scrap, where I had a blast! I was teaching 5 classes and I was so happy to get to meet new "faces", get to spend time with my favorite girls, see some old and new friends, even though I wish I had time to spend with every one of them.

I was excited to see Tena and Kim again, and to get to see Pam too! They were soooooo pretty and we had a wonderful diner on Friday evening together! They are just crazy and that's why I love them so much! Tena brought me my Flip camera but I haven't managed to make it work on my computer and get the movie on it... that probably means I need to switch to MAC asap! :D

Anyway, here's a layout I made for the store Autour du Papier, no paper, just stamps and embellishments! Sassafrass and Hero Arts Stamps! :) gotta LOOOOOOOOOVE the new Sassafrass! :D

And I just couldn't resist adding American Crafts alphas and Love Elsie chipboard stickers...

My mom's latest layouts :D

here are my mom's latest scrapbook layouts! She keeps making those stunning layouts for someone who has been scrapping for a couple of weeks and it's so funny to listen to her when she talks about it : she is SO into it! I mean she even gets excited about it! LOL

Look at this first layout here...she made it for my birthday and from all the gifts I got, it is my favorite, because I know it comes from her heart, that she outdid herself 200% to make this layout perfect to give it to me for my birthday and I couldn't help but cry a little bit because I was so touched! Well you know, guys, that when you make a scrapbook for someone, it means a LOT to you, and now I know how much it means to her to create something for me and I feel blessed to have a mom like her. :)

Prima "Build-a-page" Monthly sketch Feature :)

Each month Prima will post a new sketch on the blog and in their newsletter from one of our very talented sketch artists - and this time, it's Janine Langer who  made a fantastic sketch!

You can see HERE what the DT created following the sketch, and here's my take on the sketch!

I'm not used to creating using sketch, and I kinda feel uncomfortable with it, I don't know why... As you can see, I tend to follow what's on the sketch, I don't feel as free as I usually am when I create by my own style.

But I guess this monthly feature will help me get out of my confort zone and I had fun creating this layout!

I gave it to my mom ! :) she has already framed it!
Oh which reminds me that I still have to show you my mom's latest layouts!
Will try to post as soon as I get back from Nice on Sunday : I'm teaching on the Riviera this weekend! COOOOOL ! It's only 4 hours drive,I'm leaving in a few hours!
