The Studio Calico January kit is available now on the SC website and, as always, it doesn't disappoint!
Each kit I receive is my new favorite and this time, there's no surprise that this kit became my fave right after I had it in front of my eyes...until I receive my February kit! AHAHAH!
Good news number ONE is that we have new designers in the team! Welcome to all of them! This team is one of the best Design Teams I've ever seen (not because I'm part of it, duh!) as all of us have different style and make the most of each SC kits. Be sure to check out the gallery and meet our beloved new designers!
This month, Amber Ulmer is our guest @ Studio Calico : this girls made awesome projects using the kit!
Good news NUMBER TWO is :
Treat yourself with 2 stamps from the Studio Calico shop (and, honestly, you have no chance to make any mistkaes here as they are all perfect quality and amazing designs...I would personnally advise you to litterally RUN over the shop to get yourself this cute camera, the balloon, this amazing flower, my favorite set of alpha stamps, this school writing line or whatever it is called, or this oh-so cute butterly), well, you'll get a FREE October Afternoon Alpha sheet!
And good news NUMBER THREE : remember this cute tray I made for my mom? Well you can buy the same tray in white in the shop now! Isn't that such a good news? I couldn't resist ordering a white one from the shop, because now that my mom shows it to my mother-in-law, I need to make a new one for her :)
:)
In the meantime, I have a great day, I'm off to bed now!

Hello everyone
Tomorrow is Christmas' Eve and I'm sure most of you haven't finished wrapping gifts up yet! (hmmm...I haven't finished either...)
I prepared a mini album-gift for my grandmother Asuncion, with my most favorite Hambly products and you can see the whole album on their blog here :)
Here's a little sneak peek...
See you real soon!

Hey everyone!
It's been a long time since I haven't blogged, don't you think? Sorry for neglecting you since Tuesday, life has been busy and I'm trying to get some relax time after almost a month of travelling everywhere for classes :)
So here are two new layouts I made lately, using the amazing Studio Calico Home Front paper line. I LOVE IT, that's it. Those of you who registered for my classes in Montpellier at Scrapzimut Days will be happy to work with it, as well as those who will take my classes in Naples and Israel :)
So, guess what? My two layout are about FOOD. Oh well. I guess it's probably I've been in NEED of good and FAT food as I've been trying to pay attention to what I eat (and guess what? I already lost 12 kilos!) but I guess I HAD to scrapbook my sweet and delicious french toasts I made a few weeks back :)
So while I'm blogging this, my CRÊPE dough is resting and I'm soon off to make some good crêpes along with sugar or nutella in a couple of minutes :)
A very colorful layout, exactly what I like at the moment. I used one of my favorite SC stamps : Story Time (which is sold out at the moment but I HOPE that it'll be back soon in store as you definitely NEED this stamp), and also Coffee Stain, some blue mist and the star stamps are in the January kit (sneak peeks soon!)
I just realized the photos are really bad so I'll try to take new ones tomorrow.
In the meantime, enjoy your Sunday!

hey everyone!
I have to admit that I can't even remember how many Inspiratino Tuesday I have been working on and I can't even give a number to this one :) There are too much of them now! :)
Today, we're not going to celebrate Christmas, I would like to celebrate friends, and a great weekend I had end of August with most of them. But, just so you know, I'm working on a cool Christmas project for next week :) You might like it :)
So, this week, a very easy to make mini album, not pretty fast to make though, as the cover takes quite a while to prepare, but fast enough to decorate.
To make this album, you'll need :
First of all, you need to cut into the cardboard and decide which size you'd like your album to measure. Then, leave about 1/2inch for the spine and be sure to have both covers of the same size.
Adhere the plumber's tape to the covers , use a stylus to doole on top of it and add the black indian ink.(You can read more about this in my book).
Once the ink is dry (and believe me, it dries pretty fast), decorate the cover with a few embellishments : you don't want to add lots to overwhelm your amazing cover.
For the inner pages, I chose to work with this Cosmo Cricket paper line as it's colorful and so cute.
I like to leave some white space in my designs, it helps your eye to focuse on the most important thing on your layout or page.
Some October Afternoon stickers, Kesiart stamp and Cosmo Cricket chipboards gather to make this first page rather simple but colorful.
As the papers are very colorful, I wanted to make it a little but clearer by using white cardstock and my whole pages are made out of American Crafts white cardstock.
You can use the same stamp and stamp it (without re-inking it every time) to add depth and texture to your white page...
Don't be scared to work on pages without any photos : sometimes words and journalling are just perfect to decorate a page.
Use stamps and your own handwriting to make a unique embellishment!
there you go :)
See you next week for a new Inspiration Tuesday project and celebrate Christmas :)
