Inspiration Tuesday : a sketch + Kesi'art brand new collections

Hey there!

Christmas is finally over and, honestly, with all te stuff to prepare, shopping to do, dinners, I'm glad I'll get to find some free time to scrap this week :)

I got a fantastic box from Kési'art on Christmas'Eve and what can I say except that everything rocks!!!

Here's a sneak at what I received...

There are three new collections : Mr Berg, Senteurs Boisées & Bout'd'Ficelle, along wth assorted stickers, 6x6inch paper packs, stamps & alpha stamps.

And for this new Inspiration Tuesday, I made a layout using some of these new products. The theme? Well, two of our best friends just became mom and dad yesterday so I thought I would celebrate the venue of ADAM, their son :)

All of our friends were waiting at the hospital for Adam to arrive in this world and we had fun :)

My Studio Calico January kit got late this month so I only managed 4 layouts but all I can say is that this kit is absolutely delicious!

Who's who is absolutely gorgeous, I especially LOVED the SC papers in it!

Inspiration Tuesday with a very special guest :)

Hey there everyone!

Today is a new Inspiration Tuesday with a real talented lady : Virginie Carabin.

I'm more than happy with the awesome project Virginie has came up with and I'm sure you're going to love it :)

1. Supplies

 

Structure :

. Cardboard : 2 pieces size 6x6", one piece size 1x6"

. Papers, fabric,... : one piece size 8x15"

. Bazzill cardstock : one piece size 6x15"

. strong glue

. bone folder

 

Inside pages :

. Bazzil cardstock – 9 pieces size 6x12"

. Patterned papers and photos

. Embellishements

. Sewing machine

 

2. Instructions

This step is the most important as this is how you'll do the structure of your mini album. Be patient and you'll have a wonderful mini album to record all your dear memories.

 

Fold your 6x12 piece of Bazzill in half so that you have pages that are 6x6", and put them aside.

I used the Scorpal to fold my pages.

 Use strong glue or double sided tape on your pieces of cardboard.

 

Add your fabric, papers, whatever texture you want for your cover.

 

Fold each corner so that it looks real nice.

 

Before going on with the cover, let's get back to work on the inner pages.

 

 Put each double pages inside another one and go on like this until you have put all the pages together.

 Sew the pages together on the inside folding part of your double pages.

Your album is ready, now gather supplies and photos and enjoy the process!

Studio Calico December kit

Here are my layouts with the Studio Calico December kit... I just loved the colors in this kit.

On this layout, I used some White Mister Huey, some yelloww one & some blue one, the star punch and this border punch (I used the small dots as a mask).

I had fun with the apple punch, some red Mister Huey & my square punch.

And for this one, still the same border punch but used twice to make this beautiful paper border.
