I received my SC kit on a wednesday morning, while I was leaving the house to spend the day at a friend's, scrapping and talking, well, you know, one of those GIRL moments :)
I grabbed my box and my scrapbook tools and drove to my friend's.
It was a really fun day, we laughed, ate outside in her garden, and scrapbooked.
I managed to make 4 layouts that afternoon (yeah! 4!) because I was sooo inspired by the kit and my addons (I got Space Cowboy and Star Dust):)
My friend Zaza had her sewing machine out so I couldn't resist using it!
I used some Spice Tin, Chicken Feed & Candy Dye inks from Jenni Bowlin to add color to my title.
Some sewing machine fun on that one too :)
I had fun with my Mr Huey on this layout! Some vellum added to make it look smoother and some more sewing!

Oh by the way, did I tell you about my favorite scissors? This Tim Holtz snip scissors are just about the BEST scissors I ever used! Nothing sticks to it, it cuts perfectly and your fingers don't hurt if you cut for one hour! :) LOVE those!
