Studio Calico October REVEAL :)

You're SO going to love the kits this month! I couldn't resist (again) and ordered ALL add-ons! Yep! They are just TOO amazing to NOT get those!

Here are my layouts made with these month's kits. Couldn't play with the add-on #4 yet but I hope to be able to print my pictures from Brazil and scrapbook!

I was on TV on Saturday! :)

Beginning of this Summer, Damien and I were watching our favorite show called Tout le Monde Veut Prendre sa Place, and I see that they are doing some casts to find new participants. I thought "ok well! that could be funny! I'm gonna do it!" :) So I went :)

Over 130 participants at the casting. 50 questions to reply within 7 minutes. Talk in front of a jury. 20-25 persons picked after all that, including me.

Then we all walked in front of the jury again, talking and talking. And they told us we will get a phone call within 6 months to tell us whether we are picked or not for the TV show.

I got mine a week later.

And there I am, beginning of September, in Paris, with Damien, to be at the TV show :)

I was so excited! A little nervous at first, I even wondered what the hell I was doing there instead of having fun IN FRONT of my TV! :)

I had no idea it could be so fun! :) Looking forward to doing it again! :)

Brazil : get to know Rio de Janeiro

No time to actually post photos of our trip to Brazil lately but here they are! I've got so much stuff to show you!

Here was our first step in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro, where we were welcome like queen and king by Aninha and her family.

We walked around Copacabana, Ipanema, Santa Teresa, the Sugarloaf, the Forte de Copacabana, went to the best bar in my whole life, the Carioca Da Gema, where caïpirinha & samba fill your heart and soul with happiness.

I love Brazil. Its colors, perfumes, musics, trees, flowers, the food, its cultural and etnic richness, I LOVE Brazilian people.

You have to be touched when you go there. Touched by the beauty of the landscapes. Touched by the generosity of its people. Touched by the music. Touched by the smell of happiness and pride in the air.

As you can see, I'm in LOVE with Brazil :) A country that brought me much happiness and love.

More photos soon! And no Corcovado at the beginning of our trip : the Christ of Redemption hid Himself in the clouds to trick us :) but we got lucky to see him a week later, back from our other visits.

My first layout on Lia!

Hey my dear friends!

I feel like I've been neglecting this blog for a while now. But I'll work on it and get back to blogging real soon!

Here's a layout I just finished, with the latest Crate Paper. I had sooo much fun using the new Sizzix Framelits!

I used the square Framelits and the label Framelits.

 

Isn't Lia just the cutest???

Anyway.

I REALLY loved working with the Framelits: you get 8 square dies of different sizes for the price of one set of dies! Isn't that cool?

What I really loved is that the blade is really good : the dies cut through paper in a blink of an eye!

Here you can see the Label die.

And my favorite : the Square dies! I feel like I'll be doing more and more quilted-like layouts from now on!

PACS ITALY 2012!

I was so delighted when my friends from Naples, Lory et Simona, decided to organize the PACS in Italy and, of course, VERY excited and HAPPY that they invited me back to teach there!

For those of you would like to take a photography class with Corinne Delis, meet Donna Downey, get to know my friend Kesia and see how talented my Italian friends are, come to Naples on February 3,4 & 5 2012 for the 4th edition of PACS Italy! :)

May I introduce you to Lia...

Do you remember this photoshoot with my cousin Jessica, when she was 8month pregnant? She gave birth to Lia on Saturday night, at around 7pm!

I'm so proud, feel so emotive :) I met Lia yesterday but I told her I have been loving her since her mom told me she was pregnant. I loved her the very second I knew she was there.

I wish her a long and beautiful life, surrounded by those who love her inconditionnally.

I love you, Lia :)
