Hello there!
This week's sketch is so much fun : the layout I made thanks to this sketch is probably in my TOP TEN of my favorite layouts this month :)
It allows you to make a quick and easy layout, what I REALLY like.
Here's the sketch...
I cut the Chevron background with my Cameo into white cardstock then glued it on my yellow October Afternoon paper.
I made a pocket with vellum paper and glued all my elements on top of it.
My supplies list
and here's Melissa's gorgeous layout...
SUPPLIES list
Papers (American Crafts, Pebbles, Kraft), Alphas (American Crafts), Embellishments (Buttons by October Afternoon, Stamps by Studio Calico, Thread by Coats & Clark, Washi Tape by American Crafts, Ink by Staz On), Tools (Circle Punches by Fiskars, Marvy Uchida, & EK Success, Corner Rounder by Fiskars, Sewing Machine by Brother) Adhesive (American Crafts, Zots).
Isn't Melissa's layout so inspiring? LOVE the colors here!

Feel free to post a link to your layout and your name in the form below! :) Can't wait to see what you come up with!

I'm sure you LOVED Abroad, one of the first Studio Calico new lines. Well, you will LOVE Take Note as well, that's for sure!
Business meets sweetness in this office-inspired line, Take Note. Wood grains, paperclips and vintage lined paper are combined with delicate florals and bows in a soft color palette of neutrals, rosey pinks, blues, greens, yellows and oranges. Take Note inspires beyond the office desk, with everyday versatility.
Take Note features patterned papers and a selection of corresponding embellishments, from FabRips, alpha stickers and decorative tape, to wood veneer shapes and decorative paper clips.
A true collaboration between Sassafras and Studio Calico designers - here's a look at the beautiful new papers:
They will also come in collection packs and paper pads:
Take Note also has fabulous new paperclips:
Along with badges, fabRips, and garlands:
You'll also love the new wood veneer pieces:

Hello everyone!
Here we are, Wednesday morning, with a new sketch to bring you new ideas and inspiration!
Melissa Stinson and I got inspired by this sketch below.
Enjoy!
My layout...
Here is one layout whose colors I rarely ever use! and you know what? I REALLY liked it! This combo (blue/yellow/cream/black) is one that I'm going to use more than once.
Supplies list
Papers (My Mind's Eye, We'R'Memory Makers); Stickers (7gypsies, My Mind's Eye); Badge (Scrapbuttons); Alphas (American Crafts); Masking Tape (American Crafts, Pink Paislee, one found on Etsy).
And here's the amazing layout by Melissa...
Melissa says : "I love scrapping from sketches, and the more I scrap from them the more I tend to change them around to suit my needs! I changed the size of this sketch from 8.5x11 to 12x12 since that's the size I prefer to make my pages. I had intended to do a really cool pieced chevron technique to fill the large section on the left side of the layout that was created when I changed the size, but as I was flipping through the papers in my 8x8 pad from October Afternoon's Holiday Style collection, I came across the city scene print and immediately knew it was what I wanted to use. The tree in the two photos (I love that this sketch uses small photos!) was set up at a large shopping center that's set up to look something like an old town, and the old shops pictured on the October Afternoon paper suited it perfectly. I ended up cutting the pattern down a bit to make it fit the space, but I was still so happy to use it since this type of print can be a little hard to scrap with!"
Supplies list
Papers (October Afternoon); Word Stickers (October Afternoon); Miscellany (October Afternoon); Buttons & Banners (October Afternoon); Mists (October Afternoon); Thickers (American Crafts); Pearls (Kaisercraft).
Do you like the sketch? Come check out what we did over on the French blog :)
I would like to invite you to participate in this sketch! Simply put your name and the link to your layout in this form below and I'll be sure to add your layout to the gallery on Monday! :)
Hugs!

hello there!
I'm back with some pictures from my Project Life! Well, at least, my TITLE page :)
My Title Page gives you an idea of what I want my Project Life to be like : colorful, textured, fun. And about US. Our daily lives. Our everyday, the boring, the extraordinaire (like going to the movies - we rarely ever go, even though I LOVE cinema), our loved ones, our cats, our travels and more.
Damien is going to participate in this project a lot. He so enjoyed my December Daily, understanding how important that preserving our daily memories became to me. He's going to have his own notebook, his own little camera and while I'll be away from home, he'll keep up taking photos and journal HIS daily life without me :) As I travel quite a lot, I really want to feature my daily, our daily lives, but ALSO Damien's daily lives :)
For now, I'm still waiting for my box from the US (wink wink at my dearest Lisa) in which I'll find some Becky Higgins products, but I got started on my Title Page with Pink Paislee protector pages.
I got started with portraits of Damien and I, that my friend Corinne took a while ago. They are quite old (maybe taken 2 years ago) but I so love them :)
For now, I don't feel like I'm getting into my Project Life a lot, as I only managed to make the Title Page, but as soon as I get home from the States, you'll see a WEEKLY update on my Project Life on this blog!
So, for now, it's a lot of photos taken, notes written and gathering cool products! :)
More Project Life in 2 weeks when I get back from the States!
What about you? Wanna share you Project Life feelings/experiences?
hugs to you all!
