Play with shapes, photos, colors and stamps!
Hi everyone, how are you? Today I want to share some so funny ways to play with so many different materials… cool materials!
My idea was to create exagon flower in the page… using exagons dies, photos, stamps and mister huey’s from studio calico.
Materials you need:
Kraft cardstock
2 patterned papers (scrap leftovers)
Mister huey’s (I have used cameo,custard and dewey )
clear stamps (exagon, phrases, words)
big shot and dies
glue or double side tape
embellishments
clear stamps
black staz on or versa fine
Materials I used:
Patterned papers: ily bee design, echo paper, studio calico, bazzill
Stamps: studio calico
Embellishments: jenni bowlin, maya road, studio calico, american crafts, hello forever
words stickers: cosmo cricket and authentique
letter stickers: basic grey
tools: sizzix
Tricks
I would like to inspire you with some funny tricks to use in your pages! The important thing is to have fun and be stress free! I have used my last studio calico kit that is awesome!
Tone on tone
I love so much this kind of effect and I try to do it using my adorable big shot and some dies, the doily and the framelits circle with the embossing dot sizzlits! Simply use this embellishments on the same color of background as I made at the top of my page. I adore these dies!
Hexagon photos
I would to use this kind of photos shape from a lot of time, this is so cool and finally I have thought about the right way to use them! It’s very simple, you can do it with photoshop starting by making a hexagon using the custom shapes tool. Or simply using a hexagon piece of paper and using it as a template for your photo. Very funny!
I have printed 4 photos, 1 bigger than the others. I sticked the three small photos on the hexagon shapes from studio calico! Cool effect!
Hexagon shapes
I played with other three hexagon shapes coloring them, stamping and embellishing them!!! I had a lot of fun!!!! Put them around the main hexagon creating a sort of flower J Very easy and cool!
You can add color with the mister huey’s spray and then insert stickers, stamping, and giving them colors!
Play with embellishments
There are really fabulous embellishments, I have played with different kinds of them, buttons, paper, badge, brads and stickers. I love to use the gems in this period and you?
