From today on, every thursday you'll get tutorials/inspiration posts on this blog.
Today, I wanted to talk about PROJECT LIFE. YES. Everybody is talking about PL and Im no exception. Just wanted to share my thoughts and how I'm going to organize myself for this one-year project, because YEAH : I'M IN! :)
I had already heard about PROJECT LIFE before but never really paid attention, because I considered myself too busy to even read more about this concept.
And then, came three girls that totally convinced me to give it a try : Lisa Truesdell, Nicole Harper and Marcy Penner. Their approaches to PROJECT LIFE totally seduced me and with the amazing things I've seen on their blogs, well yeah, I wanted to be in the COOL circle too :)
So I'm doing it. I'm doing PROJECT LIFE.
I already organized myself : I have a corner in my scraproom that is only dedicated to PROJECT LIFE, I have a notebook that follows me everywhere (thanks Danda for the sweet gift!) and a nice box to store all of my products!
But, if you've never heard about PROJECT LIFE before, you might be wondering what it is exactly.
Well, let Becky Higgins explain her own project to you with this video.
Document your everyday. Your husband. Your kids. Your loved ones. Your neighbourhood. Your city. Your country. The world. WELL : everything that is AROUND you. And of course : YOURSELF.
The everyday. The magic.
Share something happy. Something sad.
That's why I wanna do it.
I want to document those little moments in my life, or those extraordinary days as well.
But let's start with : OR-GA-NI-ZA-TION.
You can't commit to a one-year-long project without a tiny bit of organization.
Here's what I need to get started.
1. ALBUM
One American Crafts album. You can definitely order the PROJECT LIFE products on Amazon if you live outside of Europe, or on AMAZON UK soon for you Europeans.
2. PAGE PROTECTORS
You can order your PROJECT LIFE page protectors on Amazon but you can definitely adapt whatever page protectors you have in hand, like those American Crafts ones which are perfect!
3. A BOX (to hide the mess and keep your favorite PROJECT LIFE stash in one place)
4. PAPERS
6x6" paper pads would be the best for me on this project (as I rarely ever use those - one good reason to use them for my inserts)
LOVE those by Elle's Studio, Studio Calico, SMASH!, American Crafts & Ormolu and looking forward to receiving those!
Couldn't resist ordering those beautiful digital Paislee Press journaling cards.
6. STICKERS
Kesiart stickers, of course!!!
Alphas and other sticky embellishments.
7. BADGES
Ormolu & Marcy Penner. Ordered those below yesterday from Marcy as well.
8. STAMPS
My Kesiart will be perfect for WORDS, SENTENCES, DETAILS.
Des BACKGROUND stamps from Studio Calico to create my own journaling cards.
My other favorite Studio Calico stamps (available on the Studio Calico shop).
Those are the SC stamps received in kits stored in a Storage Panel.
9. INKS
CHALK inks by Prima. Curious about those inks? Read a review HERE.
10. HANDMADE CUTS
Wiht my dear BIG SHOT or with the Cameo.
11. A NOTEBOOK
To keep track of it all.
12. YOUR PHOTOS
HOW to organize your PHOTOS?
Create a SPECIAL PROJECT LIFE forlder on your computer and add whatever photo you wanna scrapbook in there.
Don't forget to edit them though!
Don't forget that this is a STRESS FREE project : if you can't do anything for 3 weeks, never mind, you'll catch up whenever you can.
No time or possibility to grab your camera with you? Well, you might have a camera on your mobile phone then :)
A very busy week and no interesting things to tell? Well, talk about your everyday, what seems boring to you but can be a good old souvenir in a couple of years :)
Are you ready to dive in PROJECT LIFE? I AM!
Take care!

Hello!
STAMPING inspiration today with Craft Origine! A fresh and inspiring discovery lately : makes you wanna start making cards right away! I'm not a cardmaker : I don't have ideas, never inspired, no time to make cards. But these stamps make me wanna start making cute, design and "chic" cards for family and friends.
What I really like in those stamps is their quality. They are very thick clear stamps, stick to your acrylic block really well and any ink get stuck on the clear rubber for a perfection impression.
I wanted to show you that, even though these stamps look like they're perfect for cardmaking, they are really good on your layout projects!
On this layout, I stamped with Versamark & embossed with American Crafts Zing embossing powders (color : mustard, wave & rouge)
Some stamps are mounted with 3D foam tabs for more depth on my layout.
I used these sets for the layout :

Now let's try cardmaking!
I told you that these stamps make me want to make cards! So I gave it a try and made 3. You guys have to be nice with me : I'm not used to making cards at ALL! :)
For this one, I used my so beloved big Shot with an APPLE embossing folder then punched with an APPLE Fiskars punch into Kesiart papers (collection Bout d'Ficelle & Petits Pois Carottes)
I used 3 different stamps from the Recettes stamp set to make mthe little flag tag on my card, each stamped with a different ink.
Supplies list for this card
+++
A very easy and fast card to make : I embossed a stamp from the Quatre Saisons stamp set with Versamark ink and embossed it with Zing embossing powder Clear.
I stamped the Echantillon d'Amour stamp on Bazzill with grey versafine ink.
Supplies list for this card
+++
For this last card, I embossed a white cardstock with my Big Shot and a Stampin Up for Sizzix embossing folder.
Then I added some splashes here and there with Mr Huey Piglet spray ink.
Used two stamps from the Invitation stamp set, each stamped with two different inks.

Voilà! :)
I hope this Inspiration tuesday inspired you as much as I was inspired to create the projects for you :)
See you THURSDAY for a Craft Origine giveaway!
Take care!

Hello there!
It's been months since I last wrote and created something for my Inspiration Tuesday for several reasons : lots of work, lots of workshops to prepare, lack of time because of all that, and lack of inspiration as all of it was sucked in for my workshops projects. I had no idea of fun things to share with you. That means I'm not a goddess of whatever : I fear the blank page as well :)
But all I can say is that I missed doing my Inspiration Tuesday!
So I'm going to do my very best to get started and inspire you every Tuesday from now on!
Today : 3 new layouts made with the Kesi'art new paper lines, Ana-Chronisme & Itinérances & their new dies:)
I just love both paper lines! I think they are my favorites from the very beginning of this manufacturer : the graphism is amazing, the colors are to die for and very new, something we're not used to seeing and I can see myself use them over and over again :)
For this first layout, Itinérance offers us perfect design for our travel & holidays projects. I just can't resist!
I printed my photo on a 12x12 white cardstock because I wanted it to be the main thing you see on my layout.
I bought the flowers over at Place des Scrappeuses, and embossed the La Pause Créative hibiscus leaves with American Crafts embossing powder...
I made those little drops with my most favorite spray inks : Mr Huey from Studio Calico.
You see this beautiful paper flower? I made it using a Kesi'art Metaliks die!
I'm in love with these colors!
So...will you fall in love with those papers or not?

Helo dear readers!
Want to fly away? Me too! I'm looking forward to Spring, and Summer, desperately needs some warmer temperatures, I really can't wait to go to the beach, feel the sand between my toes, take sunny pictures and enjoy the sun on my skin... :)
Today I'm challenging you to go Hybrid or, if you don't have any digital files on your computer, to work with a big picture!
Supplies list : Papers (American Crafts, Paislee Press); Alphas (Studio Calico, Sassafras, October AFternoon); Digital kit (Paislee Press); Flower (Sassafras) Stickers (October Afternoon); Hot air balloon stamp (Studio Calico).
To create this layout, it's very easy :
1. Create your design on Photoshop (open a 12x12 document, add photos, digital files...)
If you don't have a wide format printer, work on a 8,5x11 document and print it on your regular printer.
2. Print the whole document.
Your layout is now on paper (FYI, I use the back of a white Bazzill cardstock to print my digital layouts), you just have to add regular scrapbook embellishments to your layout.
I made my title with Sassafras & Studio Calico alpha stickers, then decorated the layout with a Sassafras flower and my favorite SC stamp :)
And don't forget to cut your printed layout shorter so that you can mat it on a patterned paper : here, I used an American Crafts Dear Lizzy Christas paper :)
If you aren't into digital or hybrid stuff, I challenge you to be inspired by the sketch of this layout!
Have fun!

Hello dear readers!
Today, a new Inspiration Tuesday with Cosmo Cricket Glübers! :D What the hell is a Glüber? Those are just great, my friends! :)
Have you ever dreamt of making your own fabric flowers but haven't found out a way of glueing the fabric? Ever wanted to play with glitter but were scared to put it all over the place?
Glübers are exactly what you need!
They're just like BIG glue dots so imagine all the things you can do with them!
I participated in a make&take at CHA with Natasja Verbeek on the Cosmo Cricket booth where she demonstrated the great uses of Glübers and I absolutely loved it!
So, for this Inspiration Tuesday, I used my Studio Calico February kit, couldn't help it, I had so much left over that I LOVED :)
Also choose some pieces of fabrics that you'll rip off so that you'll have at least one piece of fabric that is 24" long.
Get rid of the first plastic sheet on the glue dot. Tie a knot at one end of your piece of fabric...
...and cut it close to the knot.
Place the center of the knot in the center of the Glübers.
Turn it over, making a circle.
Once you're done, just leave a tiny piece not stuck on the glue and set it aside. We'll get back to it when we're finished with our box.
I recycled a photo box that I received with my recent photos printed on the web. Thought I would alter it...
Once your box is finished, get back to your fabric flower, get rid of the second piece of plastic...
...put the left over end beneath the flower, on the glue side.
Ta-da!What do you think? Don't you love it? I have to thank Natasja for inspiring me so much and falling in love with the Glübers :)
You can also use Glübers with glitter!!!
Add some embelisshments and you're good to go with a nice new photo box!
Enjoy!
Glübers are soon gonna be available at your favorite LSS!

Hello everyone!
I'm getting ready for this weekend's retreat Scrapzimut Days : all my kits are packed, projects ready, stuff to share in my bags, I'm all ready to have fun, I 'm telling you!
This weekend, I was teaching in the city I was born in : weird but fun to be back as a "tourist" :) The girls were real fun and they just ROCKED the paints and inks! :)
Anyway, back to our business :)
Today I'm sharing a mini album I made for two friends of mine who went to Cuba last year. I couldn't resist borrowing some of their photos and to thank the for such inspiration, I made this mini album for them :)
I used one of the Studio Calico add-on kits from a previous month but you can also find some Kesiart & Hambly products.
The idea to recycle a product packaging : think about the endless possibilities you have with those!
I covered the Moleskine book with patterned paper as the packaging had a front window on the 1st cover and I wanted a pretty paper to pick through :)
Add papers in the inside pages of the journal.
Then I used double sided tape to add my journal.
Embellishments, title and ta-da! ready!
Many photos now! :)
I left blank spaces in the journal for my friend Angie to leave comments about her trip :)
Have a great day!

Hey there!
Today I'm going to show you how to use BRUSHES :)
Brushes are like stamps that you can use in Photoshop, on your photos and your digital scrapbooks. You can change the size, the colors and the opacity.
I created especially for this Inspiration Tuesday two sets of Brushes (only available in French for today but soon available in english) so I hope you'll like them!
Here's a digital layout I made using a Brush I created.
First of all, once you have purchased or downloaded brushes, you need to unzip the folder and instal your brushes onto your computer.
Create a folder named BRUSHES so that you can get organized with your brushes.
Then, open Photoshop.
Then, CHARGE all your brushes onto the software and select the BRUSH tool.
Then click on the blue icon that allows you to change the size of your brush, then click on the samel little black triangle, and go to UPLOAD NEW FORMS.
Select the desire brushes.
Change the size of the brush.
You can also change the color of your brush at the bottom of your software (here with a black cross).
You're set to have fun with brushes on your computer!
HEre are the two sets I created for you guys. It's only 2,99€/set so what are you waiting for?
TRIP
I hope you enjoyed this new Inspiration Tuesday and to thank you for your eternal support, here's a FREE brush I created for you to download : Téléchargement I am an artist
Have a good day!!!
